Divorce Process
There are two stages involved in the Singapore Divorce Process.
In the First Stage, the Courts will deal with the termination of the marriage itself. Here, the Court will decide whether the marriage should be dissolved.
In the Second Stage, the Courts will deal with the Ancillary matters. These include;
- division of marital assets
- custody of the children
- maintenance of the wife and children (where applicable)
In our series of articles below, we help you understand the difference between a Contested and Uncontested Divorce, summarise the Divorce Process, explain how to File for Divorce, the Emotional Stages of a Divorce, and much more.
