Connie assists and works closely with the firm’s Head Lawyer & Managing Partner, Ms Gloria James-Civetta on various complex disputes involving child custody, relocation, division of matrimonial assets and variation of court orders.
Connie has represented and advised both local and expatriate clients on every aspect of matrimonial and family law, from pre-marital agreements, interlocutory applications that provide interim relief, the divorce proceedings leading up to trial and on the variation of court orders.
Connie strongly advocates the use of mediation and encourages clients to resolve their disputes amicably especially where young children are involved. Connie has attended numerous mediations and helped clients to negotiate a settlement. She is no stranger in coming up with creative solutions that will help parties to achieve a win-win outcome. However, where mediation proves unsuccessful, she will tirelessly advocate her client’s case so as to put the best case forward.
