Muntaz Zainuddin was called to the Singapore Bar, after completion of her Graduate LL.B. from the National University of Singapore (“NUS”).
Before being admitted to practice, Muntaz was a Prosecutor with the Ministry of Manpower (“MOM”) for two and a half years.
Besides her law degree, Muntaz holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) degree from NUS. She is fluent in English and Malay.
Muntaz has experience in diverse aspects of matrimonial and family law. She has represented and assisted clients on complex ancillary issues involving division of matrimonial assets and child custody issues.
She is sensitive to client’s needs and seeks to secure the best possible outcome for them. She is patient with clients and able to communicate well to provide them with an in-depth understanding of the divorce procedures.
She believes that settlement at mediation should always be explored to save time and cost for parties, as well as to lessen the impact on children, but would not hesitate to seek a Hearing should the same provide a much better outcome to clients. As she is confident and articulate, Muntaz is able to practice effective persuasion both in Court hearings and Mediation.
